This painting was selected for a juried exhibit, "Dreaming at Dawn," sponsored by the Union of Maine Visual Artists. The exhibit runs from August 1 - September 30, 2026 at the Bangor Public Library, 145 Harlow Street, Bangor, Maine. The juror, Peter Walls, selected sixty-eight works of art for this exhibition that express dawn and convey the experience of dreaming at dawn. The exhibit is a beautifully curated with an impressive variety of interpretations of this theme. I was thrilled to be included in this show, and happy to see this piece on the center gallery wall as you walk into the 3rd floor main exhibition space.
