In the fall of 2025, this painting was selected for the 17th annual Yarmouth Art Festival at St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church, 396 Gilman Road in Yarmouth. All net proceeds from entry fees, sales commissions, and donations went to three local nonprofits:
Boys and Girls Club of Southern Maine
Equality Maine, and
New Mainers Assistance Program.
Prior to that, it was exhibited at the River Arts Gallery from January - February 2025, at 36 Elm Street Plaza, Damariscotta, Maine. www.riverartsme.com
For this painting, I wanted to capture the tranquility and ethereal essence of a Maine summer morning. The radiant light, humid, cool air, slight breeze and clouds lifting inspired this piece.
It is framed with black wooden frame, ready to hang, and the frame is included in the price.
