Oils and Acrylics
This painting was selected for the 17th annual Yarmouth Art Festival at St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church, 396 Gilman Road in Yarmouth. Admission is free. All artwork will be for sale at the show. Credit cards, checks, and cash are accepted.
For this painting, I wanted to capture the tranquility and ethereal essence of a Maine summer morning. The radiant light, humid, cool air, slight breeze and clouds lifting inspired this piece. It is framed with black wooden frame, ready to hang, and the frame is included in the price.
Hours for the exhibit will be 10am-7pm Oct. 15, 16, 17 (Weds-Fri); and 10am-2pm Oct. 18 (Sat). The show and sale then will move online from Oct. 18 to Nov. 1, when online sales will be available via the Show Catalog. Online sales will not occur during the in-person show to avoid simultaneous purchases of the same piece.
All net proceeds from entry fees, sales commissions, and donations will go to three local nonprofits:
Boys and Girls Club of Southern Maine
Equality Maine, and
New Mainers Assistance Program.
This painting was exhibited at the River Arts Gallery from January - February 2025, at 36 Elm Street Plaza, Damariscotta, Maine. www.riverartsme.com
